Kenny Luper and I are excited about this brand new form of theater: collaboration across state and continental boundaries.  An opportunity for schools,  colleges and theater companies to work together, regardless of physicall boundaries. In this Digital Age why can't a high school in Burbank California work together with a school in Atlanta Georgia? It's possible now, but where's the material?  

 

Out of necessity, COVID forced LIVE theater to go online. Theaters everywhere were scrambling asking themselves: "How do we present  plays written for stage online? Is there anything written specifically for ZOOM that would "play"to a LIVE online audience while the actors are contained in their little boxes. Kenneth Luper, Jurgen Wollf and I decided to create two plays for a new brand called: Digital Age Stage. These are plays specifically written for an online platform utilizing the unique components unavailable for LIVE theater: chats, emoji's, chat rooms, real time- suirveys, hand-raising features  etc.
